Simulation & Analysis

Today, almost every electronic device contains some wireless or RF system – wristwatches have Bluetooth, laptops use WiFi, IoT devices use cellular, WiFi, and satellite radios. The rapid development of new electronics requires design tools to accurately model, simulate, and analyze RF components and systems in the presence of other electronics and in the use environment. The WRC engineers and scientists maintain and use a broad range of RF and antenna simulation and analysis tools to support turning concepts into products:

CST – Antenna and RF design, simulation, and modeling

HFSS – Design and analysis of antennas and RF devices in personal area network, on vehicles, aircraft, and buildings.

Matlab – General numerical modeling and analysis including packages supporting antenna and RF design.

SPICE – Analog electronics simulation tools.

Labview – Software Defined Radio and instrumentation for RF testing and characterization, supporting DC to 6 GHz measurements. Support libraries for 4G, 5G, WiFi, Bluetooth simulation and OTA analysis.

EAGLE/Altium – PCB CAD tools
